Now Showing! Ben’s Journey

Ben’s Journey is the latest video from Side by Side, first premiered at our Reach for the Stars: Denim & Diamonds gala this September. It highlights the inspiring path of Ben Freeman—a former Irene M. Hunt School student—through his and his mother’s eyes, Deanna Brock (Side by Side’s Board President).

At Side by Side, we walk alongside young people impacted by adversity, supporting them on their unique journeys to heal from trauma, rebuild resilience, and embrace their full potential.

To watch Ben’s Journey—and hear Deanna’s heartfelt message to our gala guests—click the “PLAY VIDEO” button on the homepage banner above.

CAYEN and Side By Side are looking for 9 youth leaders to join the Transition Age Youth Action Team now!  If you are interested in the TAY Action Team, please contact Side By Side’s Jamila McCallum at jmccallum@sidebysideyouth.org

Kicking Off the Giving Season

We’re thrilled to once again partner with Marin Country Mart to spread holiday cheer to local youth through the Giving Tree! This festive tradition invites you to select a gift tag from the tree, each representing a wish from a young person supported by Side by Side.

Join us on November 30 from 4–7 PM at Marin Country Mart for this special event, which includes the tree’s lighting, and help make the season brighter for local youth.

"We are thrilled to support Side by Side's innovative mental health programs. This is critical work being done at a critical time in the region particularly for our most vulnerable residents. We could not be more proud to support their efforts."
